Fall Poem

Autumn, autumn, so much fun.
What a day has begun.
Falling leaves, all the fun.
Autumn days have begun.
Can you wait for some more fun?

Eliza Apples

One day, we wanted a hot breakfast, I thought of this.
 I gathered my ingredients.
I melted butter in a large fry pan.

I peeled, cored, and sliced 4 apples.  I used a corer that slices the apples, but you can use a knife.

I added the apples to the fry pan.

Then I added spices.  I used cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg, but you can use your favorite spices.

I stirred them while they cooked.
Then I added some honey.  I used citrus infused honey that Mommy made, but you can use your favorite honey.

Stir and cook until the apples are lightly browned and tender but not squishy.
We sprinkled the apples with candied ginger, but you can skip that if you want.  We love candied ginger though.
It was really, really, good, and we have been making these apples often.  Hope you enjoy them!

How To Make Scrambled eggs

I love helping with meals.  I wanted to make breakfast for my family one morning.  This is my recipe for the most amazing scrambled eggs ever.

I heated up a pan and added butter.

Then I mixed eggs, milk, and seasonings in a bowl.

Next, I poured that into the pan.

I stirred it while it cooked.  We stir it so it does not make an omelet.

I cooked it until firm, but not dry.  Then I tasted it, and it was amazing!

Here is my recipe:

Scrambled Eggs

4 eggs
1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning (optional, or use your favorite)
2 T milk
1 T butter

Step 1: Heat a small fry pan on medium heat.  Add butter.
Step 2: Crack eggs into a bowl.  Add milk and seasoning.
Step 3: Whisk till mixed.
Step 4: Pour into heated pan.
Step 5: Stir until firm but not dry.
Step 6: Eat and enjoy!
